Growing In Faith Together (GIFT), our new Sunday faith formation program includes:

  • Family Faith Formation
  • Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Preschool ages 3 & 4, Kindergarten, Grade 1
  • Sacramental Preparation for Reconciliation Grades 2-3
  • Sacramental Preparation for Confirmation & First Eucharist, Grades 3-4
  • SHINE Sharing His Incredible News Everywhere Grades 4-5


GIFT is a faith formation partnership between the parish and parents who are the primary educators of their children. Together we will learn about our faith through a variety of activities on Sunday mornings.

Sessions are scheduled for Sundays from 11:20am-12:30pm in the Parish Center.

A calendar of twenty session dates will be provided. Participation in both Family Faith Formation and children only grade sessions is expected of all registering families.

Preschool ages 3 & 4 children attend Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)  while children in grades K-5 attend the Family Faith Formation sessions with parents.

Answering the Call to Discipleship for Youth & Families

Through the anointing at our baptism, we are marked as Christians, Disciples of Christ. We know that a disciple is a follower, yet it so much more than that. A disciple is a person who learns… learns from another and then is sent forth to teach others. This is the great commission and how the good news of Christ is shared!


Families have a very important role in this commission as they live out discipleship within their homes, growing in faith together. Our faith formation and youth ministry sessions support families in living out their “yes” to discipleship by accompanying them in lifelong faith formation. We hope to encourage growth in their knowledge of Christ and in their relationship with Him and others.

There is no fee to participate for these on-campus gatherings!

Grade 5-12 Confirmation Class!
Every Other Monday, 6-7:15pm: 
Any youth in Grades 5-12 who have missed any of the Sacraments - Confirmation, First Communion, Reconciliation, or Baptism - please come to a Class just for you - on Monday Nov. 4 at 6pm in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 180 Loudon Rd., Concord NH.

​Participation in LIFT (Middle School) and ROCK (High School) Youth Ministry gatherings are also encouraged.

Sacramental Preparation

​Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation (Year 1), & Confirmation and First Eucharist (Year 2) for children in grades 2-4 will also be a partnership. Parents will read at home with their child from their workbook. Faith formation teachers will provide discussion and learning activities that build further understanding. Active participation in Family Faith Formation sessions is expected regardless of where the child attends school.

Do you have an older youth or teen who missed receiving a sacrament with his/her peer group? Please notify the faith formation office. We offer sacramental preparation sessions for grades 5-12. Participation in youth ministry is highly encouraged to connect with his/her peer group.
